We were pleasantly surprised when our Excursion Stretch Limousine pulled up at Las Salinas Key West and found the stunning Leah ready to say “I Do!”

The tropical and easy-going nature of Key West allows for a truly customized wedding experience from a full tux, linen suits, stunning wedding dresses and on occasion, the lavish traditional wedding Sari of Bangladesh.

Bengali weddings are traditionally in four parts and often take place on separate days. Keys Limo had the privilege of escorting Leah and her ensemble on one of these occasions to a scenic Key West beach location for her intimate tropical ceremony.

With influences of surrounding countries India, China, Thailand and Pakistan, we must admit that the romantic feel of these women fully adorned to represent their culture was breathtaking.  From the henna used to decorate the brides hands and feet with abstract designs to the brides friends and family coordinating in matching clothing, no detail was overlooked.

Those of you familiar with Key West know two things…. 1. Our fabulous Island never sleeps, & 2. There is always a fair, festival or tournaments going on.  This past week was no different with the annual Key West Lobster Fest.

Florida Keys Party Rentals enjoys being a part of Lobster Fest by supplying tents and equipment to the hardworking vendors, restaurants and festival participants.  A great time was had by all on Duval Street with the delicious variety of lobster and shellfish abundant!

This year the 40ft long tent from Florida Keys Party Rentals serviced the hordes of excited Florida Lobster fans at the Great Events Catering & Conch Shack booth!  Just take a look at this menu and food pics…you will know why!

Florida Keys Party Rentals We were delighted to visit our friends and clients at the Bagatelle, Great Events, Conch Shack and Willie T’s whose tents were all jammed packed with hungry customers!

By the end of our stroll on Duval Street, visiting and sampling the sumptuous creations, we knew that we had to share this with you!

Fairies land on Keys Limo’s sunset ride!

It began with an innocent Limo ride to surprise Wendy for her birthday…… Keys Limo dropped the group off (Barry…the master behind the limo, Will, Debo and of course, the birthday girl Wendy) at Fort Zachary Taylor to begin what was soon to be a night that would always be remembered.

After a relaxing picnic and spectacular sunset, the group wanted to go to the brand new LaTrattoria Oceanside for dinner.  Unbeknownst to them Keys Limo had picked up a group of Fairies…yes, we said fairies!  Here in Key West there is always a fun adventure, craft fair, exhibit or spectacular happening… It just so happens this evening was Mid Summers Night Dream at the Key West Botanical Gardens.

The fairies (Kelly, Sheila, Jen & Shawna) were on their way when a quick rainstorm approached.  Barry had won a gift certificate from Keys Limo for the ride to Fort Zachary Taylor Park, but the ride back was complimentary, so while waiting for the shower to pass, the fairies decided to join Keys Limo to surprise Wendy on the Limo ride to dinner!  Stephen called Barry and told him he had a surprise for the birthday girl… HERE COME THE FAIRIES!!!!  Wendy was the first inside the Limo and was greeted by the fairies who sang out Happy Birthday and then posed for pictures and some realized they knew each-other from their “real lives”…what fun!

We love nothing more than getting ready for a party, but creating the backdrop with friends…even better.  After Laughs, Laughs, (maybe a dip in the pool) and more laughs come a showcase of the Tropical Bamboo canopy :)   With a special area for lounging in soft conversation, to a dance floor ready to twirl the night away…

The soft greens and blues from Linens In Paradise’s tablecloths bring the beach even closer! Specialty Orchid cylinders bring a tropical nature while adding a simplicity to the tables….add some candlelight, dancing & laughter, and you have an evening to remember!

Congratulations Bobby & Pam, A Beach Wedding

Bobby & Pamela say I Do! 

After 10 years of being high school sweethearts to a happily married couple, Bobby & Pam celebrate their union with a beach ceremony!  Traveling from Ohio very detail was designed prior to their arrival.  The guests knew they were in store for an island ceremony when their invitations arrived with a starfish magnet as the save-the-date.

On the big day Pamela arrived in a black sedan from Keys Limo and holding back the tears awaited the big moments arrival….  Her beautiful hair was done by Spoil Me Rotten Salon.

As important as the nuptials was their adorable dog Pepper, who was even the flower girl in the wedding.  Florida Keys Party Rentals set-up white chiavari chairs and created a tropical bamboo archway with fabric colors selected by Pamela to coordinate with her bridesmaids dresses and gorgeous bouquets by Mama’s Flowers.

While Shai from Extreme Travel club was busy shooting photo after photo capturing the moment, it was Sue Hyde who had the honor of the officiating for this very special couple.  The vows were customized to perfection and once they were pronounced Mr. & Mrs. the tears of joy during the ceremony were wiped away with sheer exuberation!

James Wist played the steel drums and even gave the Bride & Groom a lesson while the Conch Tour Train pulled up to transport all of the guests to Kelly’s Caribbean where the celebration would continue in the historic rooftop garden!!!
